I absolutely love being asked to photograph extended families. I like being able to get to know each person a little bit more and how they all relate to each other, seeing how each family unit works and how they all connect as a whole. It’s interesting the way each relationship is unique, between mother and son, mother and daughter, grandmother and grandchild, husband and wife…This family obviously have a lot of fun together and enjoy each other’s company.

My aim in every session I photograph is to capture the joy we feel when spending time with the ones we love. For me it is so important for my clients to have images that they can look back on with fond memories, knowing that those moments in time were ones of fulfilment, happiness and contentment.
