I recently contacted a friend, Maddy, asking if she would like a maternity session done, to which she replied, “I’m not super photogenic but yes we would love to!”
And to this I say, so many people think they don’t photograph well, but I think they just haven’t found the right photographer.
A good photographer will help you feel relaxed, confident and happy to be there. I am overjoyed Maddy and Ben agreed to let me document this, their first baby, making them a family of three. These two had an absolute ball, cracking each other up and me too.
I’d photograph you guys again in a heartbeat!!

Maternity sessions bring me so much joy, knowing the exciting times that lay ahead for the parents-to-be. I love the full, round shape of a pregnant belly, a woman’s form when she is carrying a baby is something majestic to behold. There is so much wonder and awe that I cannot fully express in words.
